About ELC Outdoors

ELC Outdoors started as an offshoot for our alternative day school back in 2008. We didn’t really know what to expect for our first summer. Would there be a demand for rafting in the area? After that first year and the following 8, we can say that rafting is here to stay in Errol! What started as a small four person operation with 3 rafts has now grown into a full-fledged outdoor adventure company running raft, ropes, and wildlife tours for schools, families and individuals. We love the North Country and all the great outdoor pursuits it has to offer- rafting to hiking, cycling to fishing and everything in between!

Our Staff

Our staff are trained educators. Teaching in, for, and about the outdoors is central to our company’s philosophy. Located in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire, ELC staff have been living, teaching and playing in the region for over a decade. Many of them teach or guide through the winter and come on board during the summer to lend their talents and skills to ELC Outdoors. If you’re looking for advice on setting up a trip give us a call- we love helping people get outside and experience northern New England!
